PART A & B STATE TREATMENT, STORAGE, & DISPOSAL FACILITY PERMITS: These permit applications are very complicated and detailed. While small in-house storage sites may be approved by the state EPA within a year, larger facilities may take years to gain approval. Procedures for approval of large facilities include detailed applications, site plans, technical feasibility studies, environmental risk studies, and public hearings. Also, positive public relations is an important factor in gaining approval.

AIR POLLUTION CONTROL PERMITS: We calculate the air pollution releases and prepare the permit application for electronic submission (OhioEPA STARSHIP) using a dedicated computer system. We understand the new rules regarding Title V of the Clean Air Act, federally enforceable operating permits (FESOPS) and synthetic minor permits (air pollution sources considered to be small due to the operating restrictions imposed upon them by their owners). We use only qualified air pollution source test technicians to test smoke stacks and other air pollution emission sources. We also recommend the most economical and effective air pollution control devices for our clients.

STORM WATER PERMITS: We have much experience with storm water permits for parking lots, industrial runoff, and control lagoons.
