Silica

Shoveling silica bearing dust 1997.ANILINE ENVIRONMENTAL understand the challenges of preventing silicosis and black lung in both OSHA industrial and MSHA mines regulated environments. We have worked with the energy, concrete and aggregates, coatings, and ceramics industries.

ANILINE ENVIRONMENTAL has sampled and classified silica exposures in manufacturing and construction. Some operations sampled for silica include powder coat painting, rock crushers, sand cast metal foundries, and concrete sawing. We use cyclone samplers specifically designed to collect all particle sizes of interest and send your samples to the top laboratory in the country for silica analysis which exceeds OSHA standards.

Silica can also be generated by concrete cutting, sand blasting, stone cutting, concrete floor polishing. We help our client review materials and processes to prevent silica exposure. Our silica programs are concise and include provision for respiratory protection, ventilation controls, and introduction of wet methods.
